Canva is a design tool that also does video. CapCut is a video editor that does it better for short-form content. If your content is primarily visual/static, Canva. If it's primarily video, CapCut.

Use both. Canva for thumbnails, social graphics, and presentations. CapCut for editing short-form video content. Trying to force one tool to do the other's job is a waste of time. If you can only pick one and you're a video-first creator, CapCut. Everyone else, Canva.
